The class will cover system design, installation, system start-up, and troubleshooting of mini-split systems. The program will also include a review of flaring and press fittings used in mini-split installation and will include hands-on demonstrations. This program was created to answer the most frequent questions about mini-splits and to give you a chance to ask YOUR questions!

Southview Country Club is located in West St Paul and this private club will surprise those playing it for the first time. This course is approved for 8 hours of CE credit for PLT credential holders. This program, together with the Part 1 Class, offered through MHCA each Spring, is everything you need to meet your requirement of 16 hours of continuing education every two years.**

Attendees MUST bring a copy of the 2026 National Electrical Code with them to the continuing education programs they attend. You can purchase a copy of the Code by visiting www.nfpa.org.

The instructor for the program is Scott Higgins of Windy City Seminars. Before becoming a trainer, he was an electrical Area Representative for Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry Electrical Division for more than 8 years and has over 7-years’ experience as a State of Minnesota Electrical Inspector.
