Why Attend?

Ready or not, changes are coming to the refrigerants we use in the HVAC industry...

For years, national and state governments are establishing hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) reduction mandates. Most recently, the federal government authorized a 15-year phase down of HFCs, which include refrigerants used in residential HVAC units. Signed into law December 27, 2021, the bipartisan American Innovation and Manufacturing Act (AIM) was designed to reduce the production and use of HFCs.

Residential HVAC manufacturers are going to get ahead of the legislation and begin the phase-out of high-GWP refrigerant. This will mean that new HVAC units that can use the new refrigerant will be coming soon. The time to prepare is now - and that's why you should join us!

Learning Objectives

  1. What is happening with refrigerants?
  2. When will these changes take place and make their way into our market?
  3. How do the changes affect new and existing equipment and my business operations?
  4. How do I prepare for the changes that are coming?

In addition, there will be time for you to ask your questions.
